You might have seen it if you were near the UN: Thousands gathered to smear and throw colored powder all over each other, eat Indian food and dance Bhangra at the 2014 Holi Hai Festival. Holi is a traditional Hindu holiday celebrating colors, spring, love and the triumph of good over evil. Megha Kalia’s NYC Bhangra Dance Company hosts the festival and welcomes all New Yorkers to share the traditions each year at Dag Hammarskjold Plaza.
